A whole month

David is a month old today. It has been the best month ever! He is the best baby...so cute and fun. He smiles and responds already and is impressively strong. We sure love him!

Blessing day

Sunday was my parents last Sunday here before they leave to be mission president and wife in Pittsburgh PA, and we wanted to be sure my dad got to be part of David's blessing. Jeff have him the sweetest blessing, and it was such a great day with family! It is great to be part if such a great gospel.

Introducing David Jeffrey

This last week has been the craziest of our lives so far. We welcomed the most beautiful little boy to our family. I had been wanting a very natural, unmediated birth...but this little guy decided against that and was very stubbornly breech. We ended up having to go with a Caesarian section which took place May 27th. This little man was brought into this world at 9:47 am, weighing 6 lbs 11 oz, and was 18 in long. David is the best thing that has happened to us (besides finding each other and getting married, of course), and we absolutely love this little, sweet spirit. 

A Warm Wiggy Welcome!

We decided that in order to prevent overposting on social media we would start our family blog. This way you choose if you want to read stories from our lives and see a lot more pictures of our beautiful baby and babies to come!

Rebekah, who goes by Bedda, and Jeffrey (Jeff), met at their local singles ward and were secretly interested in each other most of the summer but neither made a move. Then, her cousin, David Johnson, who was Jeff neighbor and friend since they were babies, lined them up for the annual Johnson date night. After that, they couldn't be separated even though she went to BYU 5 days later. They would Skype for hours every night and made frequent weekend trips to be together. They were engaged after dating for 5 weeks and married a few months later on Dec. 28, 2012.

That's us in a nutshell, which is good because we are a little nuts. Welcome to our family blog! Get ready for adventures and cuteness with our growing family!
